Best New Business Award

Dr Kevan Williams,

director of enterprise, engagement and external relations, Norwich Business School, UEA.

Norwich Business School at UEA has an international reputation for excellence in both teaching and research. Over 1200 UK and international students compete to study our wide range of courses from undergraduate to MBA and PhD before joining businesses here and overseas. Our students, staff and knowledge are also drawn upon by businesses through modular programmes, executive education courses, consultancy, research projects and specific business advice.

This excellence is demonstrated by our exceptional student satisfaction scores (most recently 3rd from 113 UK universities beating both Cambridge and Oxford) and is underpinned by continuous innovation in what we do. We've introduced two world leading programmes in the MSc Brand Leadership and MBA Strategic Carbon Management and we've recently launched new versions of our MSc programmes to meet the future needs of employers. In the vanguard of UEA's new London campus, Norwich Business School will begin teaching four new undergraduate and post-graduate degrees this September in the heart of the London financial centre. In parallel we continue to grow on campus here with our own new building allowing us to introduce new bespoke services to local businesses and helping us to increase our role in the local economy.
