EDP Norfolk Food and Drink Awards 2011

It's time to show your support for your own foodie favourites of Norfolk, as we ask for your nominations for the 2011 EDP Norfolk Food and Drink Awards.

And it's the perfect opportunity for those working in the county's food and hospitality industries to sing their own praises too.

So, if your local butcher sells the perfect sausages, or you've discovered a baker whose cakes are world-beaters, let us know!

Think you've found the best restaurant in Norfolk? Then make your nomination here and give it the chance to pick up the prestigious award for 2011.

If you are proud of what your business has achieved in the past year and think it deserves to be recognised, now's the time to stand up and be counted - we welcome self-nominations, so make sure you simply fill in the details required here.

Sponsored by some of the biggest names in the county's food and hospitality industry, these awards are valued for the recognition they bring to the winners among their peers as well as their customers, and they really reflect the commitment they have shown to the very highest standards.

Making your nomination is simple - fill in as many categories as you wish on this electronic nomination form (just click on the categories you would like to enter). Please remember to include the reason for you rnomination too.

The form is also printed in the April and May issues of EDP Norfolk Magazine, and will be in the Eastern Daily Press newspaper several times during April, so please spend a few minutes putting forward the people and places you think should win this year.

The deadline is Friday, May 13, 2011, and after the closing date, all the entries go forward to the EDP Norfolk Food and Drink Awards judges who begin the long and thorough process of deciding which of these will make it through to the final.

The names of the worthy finalists will be announced in early August and the winners will be revealed at the glittering gala dinner and awards ceremony which will be held at the Holiday Inn Norwich-North on Monday, September 5, to be hosted by BBC Look East presenter and EDP Norfolk Magazine columnist Susie Fowler-Watt.
