The coming year looks set to be an exciting one for flooringsuplies.co.uk, with plans to roll out a European launch among several targets.
The business will also be establishing installation teams throughout the UK to further its domestic reach.
The market–leading business specialises in floorings including solid wood, engineered floors, laminate, carpets and vinyls.
It sells both to the end user and to high street blue chip retailers.
The last year has seen the business, which was founded by Adrian Lee as Keswick Flooring in 1985, further improve and ease the way the customer can come to them.
The introduction of new payment methods including Paypal, the creation of new routes to market via tablet and mobiles, an improved website introduced earlier in the year and taking on of new staff in the office, warehouse and distribution has helped create an increase in business.
There has also been a strengthening of relationships with all major brands, which include Kahrs, Karndean, Amtico, Quickstep and Natura.
'Turnover was £9.8m in the year ended March 31, which is a 51pc increase on the previous year,' said Mr Lee.
'There are commensurate increases in net profit. These figures reflect excellent trading by the company despite the current economic conditions.'
