Comms Consulting was established in 2010 following Mr Alderton's decision to leave one of the major telecoms companies in the UK, born out of a desire to use his knowledge and a passion for customer service to deliver a different experience for businesses in the communications sector.
The business was established as a consultancy and telecoms management company, using its knowledge to understand the individual need of each and every company, therefore providing the correct solution for their immediate as well as their longer term needs.
'With 2011 the first complete calendar year for Comms Consulting, it has been an exciting and challenging year. Since establishing the business we have organised over £1m of contracts for business across the UK and saved companies in excess of £200,000 in doing so,' said Mr Alderton.
In November, the company set up a partner channel, using a strategic plan of working with IT companies that are seen as the best of breed in each region. Even in these very early days, this is proving to be a catalyst to considerable growth. Over the next couple of years, the plan will be to have a key IT partner in all the main geographic areas of the UK.
2012 will continue to provide exciting times ahead with planned growth of a further £1m turnover along with employing six more members of the team.
'My aim is to grow the company quickly to become a national player within two to three years. The current economic environment should only help my business model. I have very ambitious plans for growth and I am really excited about the future of the company.'
Comms Consulting currently operates from the Meridian Business Park in Norwich as well as using 'virtual staff' for its office administration.
