Active Technologies specialises in developing engineered solutions and high quality performance products that are designed to solve their customers' intractable problems.
Supporting a wide range of markets, the fast–paced growth of the business has been no surprise to managing director Paul Spinks: 'Our growth is a result of hard work and focus.
'Our vision has been to create complementary aspects to our divisions that allow our customers to achieve the full life cycle of their product ideas'.
This is evidenced by a well organised and very productive toolroom, fully stocked with the latest equipment producing beautifully engineered billet machined housings for their patented Throttle Body products, along with components to build bespoke manufacturing cells for small to very large organisations.
'We are very proud to have recently signed a contract to supply automation equipment to a very high profile global customer,' added Mr Spinks.
'This equipment will fill one of our 2000 sq ft workshops during its build stage, and is one of many that will support our customers' growth on a global scale. We now occupy 11,000 sq ft and we expect this to grow very rapidly.'
The business is rebranding in order to create new divisions that partner with significant global companies such as Shell Racing Solutions, Toyota Motorsport and Omron, with the sole focus of providing outstanding customer service and performance products.
Innovative energy solutions will be at the forefront of the Active Technologies strategy for 2012.
'Our anaerobic digestion systems are designed to be of minimal impact to our country's landscape while providing significant energy returns from waste,' said Mr Spinks.
