In the past year, Anglia Roofing Solutions has moved offices to larger premises, doubled staff numbers and has been expanding into other areas within East Anglia.
The company's 48 staff include self–employed sales staff, sub–contracted installers and PAYE administrators.
Scott Warman founded Anglia Roofing Solutions in 2009 – despite the onset of the recession and gloom hanging over the property industry.
The roofing business is just one ambition for the entrepreneur and he wants to create a portfolio of companies across East Anglia.
From starting as a sole trader, in just two years Mr Warman has built a £2.1m turnover business.
He has stated that he plans to create a portfolio of 10 companies operating across the region and across different sectors.
Anglia Roofing Solutions specialises in roofing renovation and replacement for residential properties, including the use of a novel rubber roofing material for flat–top buildings and structures.
Recently the operation has moved from the Ferndale Business Centre off Norwich's Dereham Road to offices, a showroom and storage facility at the Hellesdon Hall Industrial estate on the edge of the city.
Before starting his own business, Mr Warman worked for two major home–improvement businesses, becoming an area manager responsible for a team of 34 staff by the age of 21.
