Eastern Daily Press, Active Norfolk Sports Awards 2011
The cream of sporting achievement and service will once again be honoured this autumn with the fifth Eastern Daily Press Active Norfolk Sports Awards.
We want you to tell us about your Norfolk sporting heroes, your sporting role models and your sporting inspirations – whether they are world champions or just the pride of your community.
We want as many nominations as possible, from as many sports as possible, from athletics to water-skiing, and from bowls to yachting.
There will be a total of eight categories for nominations: Sports Personality of the Year, Team of the Year, Coach of the Year, Young Sports Person of the Year, Keith Peel Services to Sport, Sports School of the Year, Sporting Village of the Year and Services to Disability Sport.
The final award, the Active Norfolk Winner of Winners, will be chosen from the successful candidates in the other categories.
There will be a winner for each category, all of which will be announced at a special, invitation only, awards evening to be held at The Curve Auditorium at the Forum in Norwich on Wednesday, November 30.
