Commitment to customer care should be paramount with judges particularly looking for clear evidence that service standards are of the highest quality, with customer satisfaction feedback being sought and acted on. Establishments should be able to show a commitment towards catering for guests with disabilities.
Owners should demonstrate that their business model is sustainable from both a financial and environmental viewpoint.
Consideration will also be given to any innovative or distinctive aspects to the promotion / marketing of the business to include plans to capture the increased visitor opportunities from the 2012 Games.
